English Eleven
The English Eleven Curriculum is a course which centers upon the study of American Literature. In this course, students are presented with a variety of novels, short stories, poems, and essays, created by some of the greatest writers who ever lived.
Students are required to read the texts being studied in a deep and thoughtful way. In addition, students are also asked to respond to the texts in written forms such as; interactive notebook entries, discussion questions, journal entries, essays, and commentaries.
Mature and thoughtful responses to the texts will assist students in the development and acquisition of the skills of literary analysis.
